Wow - who are those young looking people - ha!?!? "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times . . ." thanks for always keeping it interesting, who knew back then we loved Roller Coasters so much! Oh well, thanks for the past SEVEN years - I love you 1 million!
Even though the Beach was under construction due to "Renourishment" we managed to have a wonderful time on our Family Beach Vacation to Wild Dunes.
June 1st is our Anniversary. This year we are celebrating six years. I'm not saying wonderful, because the truth is the past few years have been really difficult. Many great things but also many unexpected tragedies. One of those real life roller coasters, too bad neither of us is a big fan of drama. BUT I married well and the man who makes me laugh the most, has kept me laughing through the worst of it.
We often jokingly tell each other that, "You're the best husband/wife I've ever had." That'll make you smile if you're having a bad day!
The other really great thing about June 1st, here in Charleston, is that it marks the beginning of Hurricane Season. To mark this embarkation we always try to drink a hurricane and we toast to it, "May this be the only hurricane we see all season!" You have to be a little bit superstitious to live here!
One blogging friend said she thought blogging helped you remember the good and forget the bad - I hope she's right.
